From our Last Council Meeting

Here's an overview of what we discussed at the last Youth Council meeting concerning Friday Nights:

1. What: tools for life; a safe, positive space; fellowship; a light atmosphere; attracting new members

2. How: fun activities, visiting other ministries and conducting our event off-site, a dedicated core of leadership/planning, music

3. Agenda

Pre-event (as people are arriving): Welcoming booth / area Music playing in the background (CDs or Live?)

First Half-Hour: Opening prayer Ice-breaker "Learning Space" (30-40 min. of dynamic lesson, incorporating many styles, not a traditional sermon)

Second Half-Hour: Overlap of "Learning Space"

Third Half-Hour:

Fourth Half-Hour: Worship? Fellowship

Post-Event Extended Fellowship
