Plan for June 19th

Here is a summary of the June 14th meeting in which we (Kevin, John, Calvin) planned for Friday the 19th:

If someone could take responsibility for the two games, that would be great!

Goal:

• Attention-grabbing and diverse event that will draw youth from inside and outside the church with the ultimate goal of outreach and development.
  

Basic Structure for Fridays:

• Cafe Setting: open and interactive
• Different activities can be plugged into this format: game nights, music, etc.

Friday, June 19th - this will be a "soft opening," where we restart our Friday Night Fellowships by networking with youth and trying to get their feedback on what the Friday Night Team is planning

• Opening Prayer
• Fun Game (open to ideas)
• Activity - will help youth begin to think about how they can use Friday Nights to minister to other youth; the activity will be followed by a BRIEF discussion on how fun activities can be incorporated into ministry. This will serve as an into to...
• Feedback/brainstorming from the youth - putting what they've just learned into practice to put forth ideas for Fridays
• Another fun game (again, suggestions would be useful here)
  
• Closing prayer
• Food & Fellowship
  

Going Forward

• We will continue to have Friday Nights each week
• Each week we want to build up the fun, excitement, and attendance
  
• By July 10th, we want to have a structure in place for the weekly events and have them well advertised
• July 10th will be our grand opening - heavy preparation, great activities, inviting community and other churches (ideas needed on what we can do to make this Friday especially, as well as each that follows, special)
